As we look towards an exciting and promising future, we have made the strategic decision to introduce our new name and brand identity. With all our recent successes such as being ranked as Australia’s 8th largest detached residential builder, Australia's largest townhouse builder and Queensland’s largest detached residential builder (HIA); we believe it is the right time for us to start a new chapter in regards to the way we communicate who we are, why we exist and what we do as a group. This new chapter we are stepping into, better reflects our 22-year journey from a humble owner occupier spec builder, to a full service vertically integrated group. Is it “pre-ve-em” or “pri-vi-em” To clear it all up, it’s pronounced “priv-ee-em” - rhymes with trivium. Seems like a made-up word for the sake of making up a word? It is, sort of. Might mean something in Dutch...but we couldn’t find a definition. But it’s not just for the sake of making up a word. We wanted a brand name that we could define. A brand name that can embody our ethos of creating community and our values of efficient, empowering and evolving. A brand name that reflects the essence of where we are going and not where we have been. A brand that we believe articulates the next chapter in our company’s storied history that is 22 years in the making.
Over the past two decades we have keenly observed the changes to not only our industry but the landscape of Australia as a whole, and on an individual level. Today, Australia is much different than it was back in 1996. However, it’s not only the market and our customers that have changed, but we have also changed too. Twenty-two years ago we were spec-builder for the owner-occupier market, today we are a full service vertically integrated group. So with all this exciting change and development, we firmly believe this is the right time to start our next chapter as a company.
It’s still business as usual here. Our company founders Robert Harder, James Harder, Andrew Clement, Neil Wormwell & Don Wormwell each have over 25 years’ experience in the construction industry; and are still passionately involved in the day to day operations of our business some 22 years later after partnering together.
While our name has changed, our mission, services and commitment to our stakeholders remains the same: creating community through our integrated property, investment and finance solutions. While we may look different, our company is still built around our values of business efficiency, empowering people and partners, and our commitment to evolving to meet the property, investment and lifestyle needs of society.
We project that rolling out our new brand identity across all of our business units and three states will take approximately 3-6 months. Throughout this process, we plan to keep all of our stakeholders up to date with all of the significant changes and how they may impact you.
In the short-term no. However, as we continue to as a group, we will be actively exploring more long-term solutions for headquarters that can house all of our growth across the states that we operate within.
The changing of our group name will not directly affect any of our stakeholders or the way we do business with you. Our building licences will still be the same; our ABNs for our different registered entities are still the same, and the way you have historically invoiced us or liaised with us will furthermore remain the same.
Our rebrand will not impact your build at all. There has not been any change in company ownership, just a change of name. Your home build will continue as per your signed contract. Additionally, there have been no changes to our teams or team members. If you are being taken care of by a New Home Consultant, a Customer Care Officer and/or a Site Manager, these team members will continue to care for you and guide you through the home building journey.
The inspiration behind our new identity is the evolution we’ve witnessed over the past 22 years in the Australian landscape, our industry, and our stakeholder's needs, wants and desires. Likewise, during the past two decades our company has also evolved dramatically, seeing us operate today across a diverse range of industries specialising in delivering solutions in the property, investment and lifestyle sectors. This diversity of service and clientele is ultimately led us to the concept of a prism - the idea that our company today has many aspects and facets to it depending on what our customer’s needs are and what services they require. We fell in love with the imagery, definitions and connotations related to this and endeavoured to coin a name that we felt encapsulated this in our context as property, investment and lifestyle specialists. What we eventually landed on after many months of workshops, research and back and forth was the name Privium which we believe perfectly identifies and evokes everything that we want to be known for.
You’ll notice elements of our new brand identity will start to feature across the marketing collateral of our brands over the coming months. We will be rolling out updates progressively across all our marketing touchpoints throughout the early part of 2019 to holistically reflect this new chapter in our company’s journey.
Yes. We are in the process of developing websites for our individual brands and we have also created a new website for our group – www. priviumgroup.com.au where you will be able to connect to iHUB and our various sites. You will also notice that our email addresses will be officially migrating over to reflect this name change
With our brand's CANVAS Designer Homes and Integra Homes, which historically have operated as standalone brands, we are now bringing them under our PRIVIUM banner. Over the coming months, our customers visiting our display homes network across Queensland, Victoria and New South Wales will start to see our PRIVIUM branding across all of our displays; which will feature our Integra by Privium series for first home buyers and our CANVAS by Privium series for educated and experienced buyers. In February we will also be officially consolidating our www.mycanvas.com.au and www.integrahomes.com.au websites to our new home buyer website - www.privium.com.au. All of these changes have been made with our customers in mind, as a result of our drive to enhance our service and make our brands more easily accessible to our diverse customers; whether you are in the market for your first home, or forever home. While we may look different slightly different, you can expect from CANVAS by Privium and Integra by Privium the same commitment to innovation, craftsmanship and affordability across everything we do.
